FormDocs is a Windows program that helps users to design printed and electronic forms. It offers text boxes, dropdown lists, multiple choice, automatic calculations, serial numbers etc. It also organises and retrieves records from multiple forms that were once filled in.
FormDocs comes in 5 different editions: Web for email and Internet submission; Office, which has multiple licenses enabling large organisation to distribute and collect forms; Server to automatically format and distribute data from your server; Developer, which allows to modify the scripts of the forms and Premium, which integrates all mentioned editions.
The program resembles Adobe Acrobat, but it’s much easier to use. Users can add rich text boxes, add lists, add buttons, use digital signatures, add a text, a background image, watermarks, insert pictures, and generate automatic serial numeration plus much more.
FormDocs also converts completed forms to PDFs, which you can only view; it integrates a spelling checker and includes the Form Filler, which allows end users to fill and submit the forms.
In addition the program has the ability to display information from Access, SQL, Oracle, or other databases in drop-down lists, which can be done by following the wizard’s instructions.
With different versions that suit different needs it allows to create forms in a flexible way plus it collects data easily.
